Hi I'm Katie!
I'm a 20-something year old sociology graduate based in Kent. I began blogging in 2018 after I left university. I wanted to create a space in which I could channel my creative expression. In the beginning, it was a place where I would rant and rave about all things taboo. While I still like to tackle taboo topics, my main goal is to create conversations. This blog is a safe space where I share my advice and experiences surrounding all things lifestyle and health care.
In 2015 my parents terminated their pregnancy after finding out their baby girl had Trisomy 18. Since that point, I have been examining my own, and societies, views on abortion and baby loss. I do not consider myself an academic or a professional however, I do hope sharing my experiences will shed light to the darkest situations. Daisy was born at 17 weeks and she is a key part of our family and my life.
As well as fighting every form of discrimination under the sun! My lighter hobbies include concert going, city seeing and cathedral loving. A MAJOR Ed Sheeran fangirl, if anyone else relates. Also love a bit of Disney and Marvel - a good movie you can cry to!
